The Sweet Symphony of Cinnamon Roll Brûlée


Cinnamon Roll Brûlée is the epitome of sweet indulgence. Picture this: a crispy, caramelized sugar shell that shatters with a satisfying crack, revealing a soft cinnamon roll.


Crafting Your Cinnamon Roll Brûlée


Ingredients You'll Need:

  • Cinnamon rolls (store-bought or homemade)

  • Whole Milk

  • Melted Butter

  • Yeast

  • Egg

  • All Purpose Flour

  • Salt

  • Granulated sugar

  • Brown Sugar

  • Ground cinnamon

  • lemon juice (for the brûlée topping)

  • water (for the brûlée topping)

  • sugar (for the brûlée topping)


Step 1 : Making the Cinnamon Sugar

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.


Step 2: Making the Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

In a bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of warm milk, 3 tablespoon melted butter, 1/4 teaspoon yeast, 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Mix and let it sit for 10 minutes. Add 1 room temp. egg, 2 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix all ingredients until well combined. Kneed dough for 3 to 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl and rise for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove from bowl and press dough down. It should have double in size. Remove dough from bowl and floured surface and roll out into a 14x9 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over dough, leaving a 1/4 inch margin at the far side of the dough. Cover the dough with the cinnamon sugar, then rub the sugar mixture into the butter.


Tightly roll dough up stating from the 9 inch side down make sure to seal the edges of the dough. Cut into the dough about 1 inch sections with a knife or unflavored floss.


Place cinnamon rolls in a greased baking pan. Covered with plastic wrap and rise again for 30-45 minutes.


Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.


Step 3: The Caramel Coating Brûlée Top

Add 1 cup of sugar in a pan with 1/4 cup water and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Carefully caramelize the sugar until it forms a thick, golden brûlée syrup.


Dip the top part of the Cinnamon rolls into the caramel coating. Be very careful because the mixture is very hot.
